We stayed at Makena Beach Hostel for a few nights and absolutely loved it. The rooftop terrace with hammocks and sea view was a highlight, as was the freshly made breakfast. The beds were incredibly soft and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Leandra, Clara, and Rodrigo were such friendly and helpful hosts, making us feel right at home. The location, right on the beach and just outside the city, was perfect for both relaxation and exploring. We even had airport pick-up arranged. We can't wait to come back!

Lovely rooftop terrace with sea view and hammocks. Comfortable king bed. Helpful and friendly staff. Convenient bus to downtown Cartagena. Great value.

We had a fantastic time at Makena La Boquilla Beach! The breakfast was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hostel is beautifully decorated and modern, and it's just steps away from the beach. We loved being away from the hustle and bustle of the city center and enjoying the quieter atmosphere. The local buses made it easy to explore downtown Cartagena, and the Wi-Fi and cable TV were great amenities. we highly recommend this hostel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
